Irvine Regional Park Family Portraits
Irvine Regional Park in Orange County’s first regional park. This 160 acre of historic recreational land includes a lake, the Orange County Zoo, bike paths, hiking trails, several picnic areas, boat rentals, bike rentals, and it's home to the famous Irvine Park Railroad. They also have pony rides. Their annual events include a pumpkin patch, Christmas Train, Easter Eggstravaganza, and Anniversary Celebration.
Why It's Great
We love Irvine Regional Park for family portraits. It has all the best backgrounds in one place. Huge sycamore trees, rolling hills, a lake, and tons of open space. A bonus to photographing families here is you can get beautiful fall photos that show off the season.

About This Portrait Session
The Norman family wanted a photo that was reminiscent of fall. The parents grew up in Northern California where seasonal changes happen. I suggested Irvine Regional Park for a few reasons. First, it is a beautiful place for photos. Tons of open space both shaded and not. Lots of trees, and plenty of space for a great session. Secondly, they wanted to surprise their out of state family with a holiday card that had the look and feel of fall. Lastly, they wanted to include their very important fur babies in the portrait. We were able to meet all their needs during their family portrait session.
